Living Water is a drama / poem in 2 acts. There are 2 female roles and 2 male roles. In a temple, ruled over by the Priest, the ills and pains of people are cured by the wondrous Living Water. However, faith in this magic cure is lessening. In order to renew the faith, the Priest is getting ready to cure a blind girl at a festival in front of the people. The Priest?s Apprentice has no doubt of the power of the Living Water and believes the Priest. Two women arrive ? the Priest?s ex-lover and their blind daughter. By accident the Apprentice learns that the Living Water is only a myth, a lie. He has fallen in love with the blind girl and is desolate. Then it turns out that the girl is not blind at all. Delusion ? between Truth and Duty, Yearning and Love.
